My name is Liana and I’m a proud Maori business owner. With over 10 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, I decided it was time to start making my own dream a reality. I opened Manaaki Hair and Beauty salon in Mangere Bridge and have been growing this baby since December 2019. My vision for this salon is to become a ‘One Stop Shop’ providing most hair and beauty services in one place, including nails, lashes, waxing and so much more. I started my career in Australia where I worked and trained under some of the most highly recognized stylists for 8 years. Our mission at Manaaki Hair and Beauty is to empower wahine/women with confidence through beauty and experience.

The Curly Bar is the brainchild of Curly hairdresser Tash Brooks- AKA, The Curl Witch. It is a first of it's kind natural hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Aotearoa (New Zealand). We pride ourselves on bringing our guests the very best in inclusive textured hair care, with a focus on environmental, social, and ethical sustainability. Our aim is to empower our guests to fall in love with their natural hair, by providing up-to-date international standard haircare education, and the very best selection of textured haircare products.
